2020 Fat Chubby

This is our second iteration of one of our newer red blends, Fat Chubby. This vintage features a different blend of 75% old vine Carignan and 25% Love Ranch Syrah. Though not aged incredibly long in barrel (about 10 months), it really has quite a bit to offer in terms of complexity. The diverse aromatics stick out as peppery and floral at the same time. Roasted coffee and blackberry jam jump out as well. Fat Chubby is definitely one of our more structured and full-bodied wines and when you taste it, you’ll see why; lots of tannin and big round mouthfeel on the finish. If you’re pairing this with food, it’s recommended to stick with the sort of big, “meat and potatoes” sort of dishes. It’ll definitely compliment those quite nicely.
